Friday Night Lights

...so much hate! I don't know if I'm going to be able to take all this disdain towards JD this season, but I guess strong feelings are better than the lukewarm ones he often received last year. It shows he's doing his job as the bad guy. The thing is, I found that last Alan Sepinwall review about it being TOO over the top something I'm actually afraid of. I know that JD has a very bad role model in his dad, and he's obviously still an angry abused, and misguided kid.! ...Dory-Jeremy's Angels

...all the reviews show Critics have a major problem with JD.
Honestly speaking I don’t have problem that JD is changed (he was already inclined toward his Dad in the last season) into spoil brat if the critics think that a bad rich kid is like run of the mill concept then I would say their reaction to this type of character is also clichéd , why can’t they digest them? This is also one type of personality people do have in the world. Just think Which of the other characters ( Tim and Matt and almost everybody) are not run of the mill in this serial, which we have not seen earlier, so why solely targeted JD...Sangeeta-Jeremy's Angels

....honestly, I felt like JD didn't really have a purpose in the season premiere. I hope that changes

What I saw of the film was a VERY rough cut.Lots of editing to be done still... and possibly some re-shoots to do, not sure yet...

It looks great though. the scenes are beautifully shot, the acting is good... and so is the makeup lol

It was everyone's first time seeing it last night.. Justin, the director, hadn't even seen it all the way through yet.So there were a few of us there.

I called Jeremy, but he is already back in Texas, so he missed out on it..because usually he comes when we go to see footage.

The movie isn't really scary, but more of a dark comedy. Funny in a really understated way, I think I had mentioned that before.

I think it will be cool for you guys to see a side of Jeremy that he doesn't play often. There are a few really emotional scenes for him. Lot's of good stuff.

Of course, Brad Dourif is amazing in it too, look him up on IMDB if you dont know who he is, he's a very established actor. He's really intense and dedicated to what he does.

Blake Hood is also in the film.. I was told he's been featured in the new 90210 episodes this season... another good-looking guy, who did a great job in the film.

I can't wait to see more as editing gets finalized.I'll try and keep you guys posted about what's going when I can.
